I hope you are all well and enjoying the build up to Christmas! It is hard to believe that it is six weeks away ’til Christmas week and to myself & Rory’s wedding day!! YIKES! Where has that time gone?! We got engaged while holidaying in Croatia last July and it feels like the time has just flew by! It seems to be all systems go for us right now but we are looking forward to throwing a big party for our close friends and family in Rathmullan house. I have not been blogging on here in a while, mainly because I have been so busy and blogging has taken a back seat for now.
On Monday evening I finished up my last art class of 2017 with my lovely Letterkenny evening Art group. I am so thrilled with how the classes have gone, the amazing feedback attendees have given me and the beautiful art work they have created. It is safe to say that I have whole heartedly enjoyed every minute spent teaching and guiding the lovely men and women who have attended my evening classes with their paintings. For a long time, I had toyed with the idea of setting up adult evening art classes and I am so happy that I finally took the plunge this year. Already I have had lots of enquiries about future art classes. We should also have an art exhibition on the horizon too to showcase past students work.
With that said, I am delighted to announce that I will be running more art classes in 2018. I have had a number of emails asking if I do GIFT VOUCHERS for my art classes & workshops, so below I have included some details. A gift voucher to my five week art workshop would make an ideal Christmas gift for a loved one. After all, January is the perfect time to take up a new hobby and to try something new, meet new people and what better way than to attend an art class.
I am very passionate about art, craft and design and I feel very privileged that I get to work alongside people to help encourage, guide and to teach them the skills and techniques needed to help them to create their own unique artwork’s. The classes I have been running are for beginners/intermediate’s. Most of the people who come to my art class have had no experience drawing or painting what so ever. The people who come to my classes simply want to take up a new hobby, try something different or take some time out for themselves one evening a week. It is a mixed group for both men and women. Painting is very relaxing and can be extremely therapeutic. I have had a lot of new mums coming to my recent classes as they find it de-stresses them from their busy lifestyle and they enjoy taking some time out one evening a week for some ‘me time’ to get creative. So many people attending my classes have commented on how relaxing they find the class and that they find that they can fully switch off from work, worries or other things going on in their lives. My evening classes are for adults only so you must be over 18years old to attend. I have had art students attend my classes who want to up-skill, some lovely men and women in early retirement who are looking to take up a new hobby in their new found spare time and attendees in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s who want to meet new people, socialize, learn how to paint and take up a new hobby that they can enjoy one evening a week. The feedback on my classes has been so positive and for that I am truly grateful.
