An art educator by day, Zara is a creative and innovative individual with a passion for the art’s, fashion and design. Zara’s fashion themed painting’s have been exhibited throughout Ireland and in 2012 her work was selected and displayed on the iconic billboards in Times Square, New York. Zara also accept’s commissioned work and sells prints in a range of sizes as well as originals of her artwork on her online shop which make for unique gift as well as home decor pieces.

Both Zara’s art and her unique fashion style have seen her featured in many nationwide magazines such as Ooh La La magazine, Image magazine, RSVP magazine ‘Women of Style’ & RSVP magazine’s ‘One To Watch’ features, The Irish Times ‘My Style’ feature, U – Magazine’s ‘The Fashion Diary’, Xpose magazine ‘How We Wear It’ and most recently U-Magazines AW15 Look Book where Zara choose her top 8 pieces to invest in for Aw15.

Zara also featured in Darren Kennedy’s fashion TV show on RTE2 called #TRENDING discussing the importance of accessorizing. She was interviewed on Irish TV (sky channel 191) where she discussed her career, fashion, blogging and her artwork with presenter Clare Ronan.  Zara recently took part on TV3 Xpose’s fashion panel where she discussed her favourite fashion trends.

Zara has experience in media and has worked as columnist at the ‘Donegal News’ newspaper in North West, her column was called ‘Art Scene’ where Zara wrote about Art, Fashion, D.I.Y, local exhibitions, featured artists and creativity in a broad context. She also had a second column called ‘Artopia’ in Sligo Now Magazine, a monthly magazine distributed in Co.Sligo.  Zara has set up and runs adult painting  classes in Sligo and Donegal.  Zara classes have become extremely popular in the North West and sell out as soon as new dates are announced.  She is always creating new artwork and is also concentrating on designing and making new products which combine her love of art, interior decor and fashion.
