[…] At the end of November I attended my friend beautiful friend Michelle’s wedding in Kilronan Castle. It truly was a beautiful day from start to finish. This time, I decided to wear a midi skirt for a change. I bought this black tulle skirt with gold polka dots on ASOS a few months back. I teamed the skirt with a simple black crop top, which I tucked into the skirt. The other option was having a tiny bit of skin on show, but I felt it didn’t look appropriate and it a very cold day! To finish this look I added a statement neckpiece which I had bought during my recent trip to New York. My sparkly black shoes are a recent purchase from Penney’s and they are still in stock. Not one to plan my outfits in advance I had purchased this black and gold polka dot tulle skirt a few weeks previous to the wedding with wearing it to my friends 30th birthday party in mind. However, once I had tried it on, I felt it looked a little’ too dressy’ for a birthday party so I decided to put it away and wear it to Michelle’s wedding instead. I loved wearing it and I felt comfortable and chic on the day. I felt this outfit was definitely wedding appropriate, yet the gold polka dots add an element of fun to it. You can read the full blog on this look HERE […]
